Hi there!

We’re Stephen and Jennie Carbone, the dynamic husband-and-wife duo behind Carbone Photo Co. We are both from the charming town of Mechanicsville, just outside of Richmond, Virginia. Stephen's journey behind a camera traces back to 2005, sparked by his early experiences in photography courses in school. Specializing in wedding and portrait photography, we aim to capture life's most cherished moments, from the joy of tying the knot to the anticipation of a new baby and the warmth of family portraits. Our commitment extends beyond just taking pictures; we strive to know our clients on a personal level, infusing our hearts and souls into every session to capture your memories as if they were our own.

Whether it's Stephen expertly photographing you and your loved ones or Jennie coordinating and communicating with you throughout the process, you can expect a personalized and hands-on experience with both of us throughout our time working together.. Whether it's the genuine warmth of your actual session or the behind-the-scenes logistics, we are committed to making your experience with us seamless and tailored to your desires.

When we aren’t photographing clients you can find us working either at our Rental Photo Studio in Ashland - Carbone Studios, or at our wedding venue, The Loft, located in Richmond, Virginia.

We have two beautiful daughters - Carter and Gracie. Outside of hustle and bustle of running three businesses, we love traveling, outdoor adventures, exploring breweries and restaurants, attending concerts and spending time with our families!
